Guadalupe

I tried to play around with a different color pallete this time, using more vibrant colors and a tropical atmosphere. I really wanted to portray a certain kind of feeling in this picture, but I am completely at a loss about how to describe it, but I hope you guys can see it through.

original drawing measured 54 x 34 cm

Lamento

I´ve always found art to be a better healer than time.

Continuing the series of illustrations for the event in June 2014. This was quite experimental and it was heavily edited from the inicial sketch. I am trying to make a dialogue with the drawing, to what it´s becoming, instead of imposing my own will completely to it.

Jugar

This is part of a series of illustrations I am preparing for an upcoming event in June 2014. I tried to experiment quite a bit with the technique, and to return to my drawing roots, and to be attentive to line weight and color combination in a two-dimensional scheme.

CD cover

Front cover

This a a cd cover for Maafaka, a new rap band of a high school friend. The making
of the cover was quite challenging, since I had to step out of my comfort zone, but overall I am pleased with the designs, and glad to have finally had the opportunity to work in a cd cover. (Something I have always wanted to do). Here is the link to their facebook site, so you can download the CD or buy it!
